My old lady and I had the extreme pleasure of happening upon Mr. Thomas at a street fair in Memphis some seven years ago ... it was one of the greatest gigs I ever saw, the cat comes tooling onto the stage on a golf cart, well into his eighties, decked out in a similar suit to the one you see here, except it was baby blue and covered in sequins. Then he fucking controls the crowd, had women young enough to be his granddaughters losing their minds and doing obscene variations on the Funky Chicken. He died about two years later, so this was very good luck on our part.
