TWO FROM SID DAVIS

Educational filmmaker Sid Davis specialized in paranoid safety stories that strove to terrorize impressionable youngsters into following the rules. Initially financed by a loan from John Wayne, Davis made ultra-low budget films decrying drunk driving (THE BOTTLE AND THE THROTTLE), narcotics (THE TERRIBLE TRUTH), child molestors (THE STRANGE ONES) and homosexuals (the astounding BOYS BEWARE).

But here's two anomolies in the Sid Davis collection ... a confusing kid's Christmas tale and a skateboard safety film from 1975 that features some boss vintage footage.
